Yes, the Flash Player was actually running on a Mac Mini hidden behind a 60" Plasma TV as an interactive display. The bubbles float over the clouds with thumbnails linked to a lightbox-type display. Deployed in June, 2007 on http://www.databoy.biz , this project was built in Flash and uses object-oriented ActionScript to animate motions and shadows. The code for the kiosk was re-used for my online graphic arts portfolio that contained 10 years worth of graphic imagery.
