Of course, if you don't already have your ticket, DrupalCon is closed to you (it's already sold out). But there are other events like the Zend PHP and O'Reilly MySQL conferences on their way!

DrupalCon Paris 2009 is not for everyone, or at least not for me! Scheduled for September 1st - 5th, it should be fun (for those lucky enough to go)!

But coming up in October is ZendCon! From Oct. 19 - 22 at the San Jose Conference Center, it will feature workshops and panels on deploying secure web applications. Early bird registration will end on Aug. 28. when the price goes up from $1,195. Included in the conference is a free Zend Certified Engineer exam to go on top of the "crash courses" on PHP Certification that kick off the conference on Monday!

Moving up in terms of scale and visibility, the MySQL Conference & Expo on April 12-15, 2010 in Santa Clara, CA is co-presented by O'Reilly Conferences, so you know it will be good! The Tutorials begin on Monday, and while the focus is on the storage and management of data, there are also sessions on Web Applications and development, too! Certification Exams are only $25 although registration and pricing haven't been published yet.
